Achievers Early College Prep uses the sheltered instruction model for any student who is in the process of learning the English language. All staff are required to complete training for best practices in all subject areas for students who are identified as Multi-Language Learners. Students are tested using WIDA to determine English language development and instruction is provided based on scores and levels from the WIDA test. Achievers Early College Prep has specific MLL teachers who instruct English language lessons once a day as part of the students' schedule.
